TERMS OF SERVICE
Last Updated: October 2026
Welcome to THALASSA.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the THALASSA website, online store, products, services, private presentations, pop-ups, and related offerings.
By visiting our website, placing an order, purchasing merchandise, registering for an event, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully before making a purchase or using our website.
1. ABOUT THALASSA
THALASSA is a luxury fashion and lifestyle retailer offering a curated selection of brand-new merchandise sourced throughout Europe and selected in New York.
Our merchandise may include apparel, accessories, footwear, leather goods, fur and shearling garments, specialty pieces, limited-availability merchandise, and other curated objects.
Certain collections, presentations, events, and merchandise may be offered under MINK & MERCER, powered by THALASSA.
2. ELIGIBILITY
By using this website or purchasing from THALASSA, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement or are using the website with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when making a purchase or otherwise interacting with our services.
3. PRODUCTS & AVAILABILITY
Many THALASSA products are available in limited quantities and may be difficult or impossible to replace once sold.
All merchandise is subject to availability.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, restrict sales, cancel orders, or modify product availability at any time.
Adding an item to your cart does not reserve or guarantee that item.
4. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to present our merchandise accurately, including product descriptions, photographs, measurements, materials, colors, and other details.
However, colors and other visual characteristics may appear differently depending on your device, display settings, lighting, photography, or other factors.
Measurements are approximate unless otherwise stated.
Minor differences between photographs and the merchandise received do not necessarily constitute a defect.
5. NATURAL MATERIALS & ARTISANAL GOODS
Certain THALASSA merchandise is made from natural or artisanal materials, including leather, suede, fur, shearling, hides, metals, and handmade components.
Natural variations in grain, texture, density, markings, color, finish, stitching, and other characteristics may occur.
These variations are inherent characteristics of natural materials and artisanal production and are not necessarily defects.
6. FUR & ANIMAL-DERIVED MATERIALS
Certain THALASSA and MINK & MERCER products may contain genuine fur, leather, shearling, hides, feathers, or other animal-derived materials.
Where applicable, customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and determining whether a product is appropriate for them before purchasing.
Customers are also responsible for understanding any laws or restrictions applicable to the possession, importation, exportation, transportation, or use of particular materials in their jurisdiction.
THALASSA reserves the right to decline or cancel an order where we reasonably believe fulfillment would violate applicable law or shipping restrictions.
7. PRICING
All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website and are subject to change without notice.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure pricing is accurate. In the event of an obvious pricing, description, or technical error, THALASSA reserves the right to correct the error and, where appropriate, cancel or decline the affected transaction.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, duties, or other fees may be added at checkout where required.
8. ORDERS
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
THALASSA reserves the right to accept, decline, limit, or cancel an order for legitimate business reasons, including suspected fraud, payment issues, inventory discrepancies, pricing errors, shipping restrictions, or product availability.
If we cancel an order after payment has been successfully processed, we will issue the appropriate refund to the original payment method.
9. PAYMENT
You agree to provide valid and accurate billing and payment information.
By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Transactions may be processed through third-party payment providers. THALASSA does not control all aspects of third-party payment processing and may be subject to their terms and security procedures.
10. FRAUD PREVENTION
To protect THALASSA and our clients, certain transactions may be subject to additional verification.
We reserve the right to request additional information reasonably necessary to verify an order, billing information, identity, or authorization to use a payment method.
Orders that cannot be adequately verified may be delayed or cancelled.
11. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Shipping estimates are estimates only unless expressly guaranteed.
THALASSA is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, severe weather, customs processing, transportation disruptions, or incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
Additional terms may apply to international shipments, high-value merchandise, signature-required deliveries, and specialty items.
Please refer to our separate Shipping Policy for additional information.
12. RETURNS, REFUNDS & FINAL SALE
Purchases are governed by the THALASSA Return & Refund Policy in effect at the time of purchase.
Certain products, including select fur garments, specialty merchandise, specially sourced items, made-to-order merchandise, personalized or altered goods, and other high-value or limited pieces may be designated FINAL SALE.
Where an item is clearly identified as Final Sale before purchase, it cannot be returned or exchanged except where otherwise required by applicable law or where THALASSA confirms that the merchandise was received damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Customers should review the Return & Refund Policy before completing a purchase.
13. SPECIAL ORDERS & CLIENT-REQUESTED SOURCING
THALASSA may occasionally source merchandise specifically at a client's request.
Special orders, client-requested sourcing, made-to-order merchandise, personalized goods, and altered merchandise may be subject to additional terms and may be Final Sale.
Where applicable, these conditions will be communicated before the transaction is completed.
14. PRIVATE PRESENTATIONS, POP-UPS & EVENTS
THALASSA may host private presentations, pop-ups, trunk shows, appointments, previews, and events, including MINK & MERCER.
Attendance may be limited and may require an invitation, RSVP, confirmation, or approval.
Submitting an RSVP does not necessarily guarantee admission unless confirmed by THALASSA.
THALASSA reserves the right to manage event capacity and access, subject to applicable law.
Specific purchasing, return, photography, security, venue, or guest policies may apply to individual events and will be communicated where appropriate.
15. PROMOTIONAL CODES & OFFERS
Promotional offers may be subject to additional terms, expiration dates, product exclusions, minimum purchases, or other limitations.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional codes cannot be combined.
THALASSA reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotional offers, subject to applicable law and any terms already communicated to customers.
16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise indicated, the THALASSA website and its original content—including branding, logos, graphics, photographs, videos, copy, layouts, designs, campaign materials, and other creative assets—are owned by or licensed to THALASSA and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by law.
23. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless THALASSA and its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, and representatives from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, or reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of our website or services or your material violation of these Terms.
24. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which THALASSA's applicable operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of rights that cannot legally be waived.
25. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our business, website, services, or applicable requirements.
The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
